Sumo therapies have partnered with a company that can show you through a non-invasive hand held scanning device how healthy you are!

The science behind the scanner has Nobel Prize winning technology and in 2005 the company won the American Business Award for Most Innovative Company in Recognition of the scanner. What makes it very unique is that there are only two scanners in Scotland and we can bring it to you!

Basically, the scanner is about the size of a shoe box.  It is connected up to a computer system which will show the results/score of the scan.  By simply placing the palm of your hand against the scanner, for a couple of minutes, the machine can read the anti-oxidant activity within the skin.

It looks at factors such as the good things your body is consuming (i.e. fruit, vegetables, vitamins and supplements) and then also detects the effects of any negative influences on the body such as smoking, drinking, your BMI, exposure to pollution, exposure to sunlight , stress and also your own personal genes.

The results have been extremely interesting so far!  After the scan, you will be able to discuss the findings and advice, if needed, can be given.
